OUR STORY
The company’s first steps date back to 1996 with the establishment of Duty Free Global, which remains part of our organization to this day.
Duty Free Georgia’s journey began in 2012 with the opening of its first duty-free shops at the Red Bridge and Sadakhlo border crossings in June. In July, additional shops were launched in Vale and Sarpi, marking an early milestone with a team of 28 employees and the core product categories that remain central today.
As traveler demand grew, so did our vision. Duty Free Georgia expanded across key border checkpoints, opening the Kartsakhi shop in 2020, Ninotsminda in 2023, and a second Sadakhlo shop in July 2023, strengthening our nationwide network.
Today, the company operates 7 duty-free shops at major border crossings and is supported by 126 dedicated professionals. While our operations have grown, our commitment remains unchanged—to provide travelers with a reliable, high-quality, and seamless shopping experience. We continue to invest in our people, product range, and customer experience to meet the evolving needs of international travelers.
